The 3D sound print of a sound that has no sound to it.

This 3D print is the representation of the only sound in the whole universe that is empty of all sound.

To sculpt this void, the 3D image was obtained using an audio recording of the word “Silence”.

The work is unique in that is emits no sound.  

The 3-dimensional soundscape of Silence reveals its shape and raises many questions.  

The work is presented in a closed tube, symbolically shutting it off from all outside interference :
the slightest sound and Silence disappears.
